Simulation Test Engineer

This team plays a crucial role in advancing vehicle capabilities by leveraging simulation to accelerate development, identify performance issues before on-road testing, and validate system requirements.

What You’ll Do:

✅ Use 3rd-party and proprietary simulation tools to create and refine scenario tests.
✅ Collaborate with customers to design test sets and evaluate vehicle performance.
✅ Perform quality checks on test sets to ensure accuracy and reliability.
✅ Identify opportunities to improve tools, workflows, and overall efficiency.
✅ Detect, track, and report bugs and inconsistencies in simulation tools.
✅ Develop and update documentation and training materials to enhance team knowledge.
✅ Triage and address incoming bugs, feature requests, and issues efficiently.

What You Bring:

🔹 Experience working in the autonomous driving industry .
🔹 1+ year of software development or programming experience in Python (Recent CS graduates welcome!).
🔹 Background in programming, software QA/QC, or related fields .
🔹 Hands-on experience with simulation software, mapping software, or other 3D applications .
🔹 Strong proficiency with the Linux command line .
🔹 Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) or similar documentation/task management tools.
🔹 Excellent verbal and written communication skills —you can clearly document and explain findings.
🔹 Detail-oriented mindset— organized, meticulous, and thorough in your work.

Pay Rate: $58 - $65 per hour
