People Operations Manager

Allied Landscape
Livermore, CA

HIGH ENERGY + DISCIPLINE (BEST ALL-AROUND)

This is not a traditional HR role. We’re looking for a People Operations Manager who brings energy, pride, and presence into the field—while also caring deeply about accuracy, follow-through, and getting the details right . If you love being around people, building community, recruiting in real life (not just online), celebrating wins, and making sure systems are actually used the right way—this role was built for you. You’ll be visible, respected, and trusted. You’ll bring culture to life and make sure records, processes, and reporting are clean, consistent, and reliable.

If you’re energized by people and grounded by structure, we want to meet you

Position Summary/Core Purpose

BRING RECRUITING, DEVELOPMENT, AND CULTURE TOGETHER TO WELCOME, GROW, AND SUPPORT OUR PEOPLE!

The People Operations Manager executes, administers, and reinforces Allied’s people systems in the field and in the community. This role brings Allied’s culture to life through disciplined recruiting, strong onboarding execution, visible recognition, accurate recordkeeping, reliable reporting, and consistent follow-through on early employee success.

This role is a highly visible, in-person culture ambassador and community connector—particularly within Hispanic and local labor communities—while maintaining clear boundaries that reinforce manager accountability. The People Operations Manager does not replace Operations leadership, but ensures people processes are properly administered, documentation and records are accurate, reporting is timely and reliable, compliance requirements are coordinated and tracked, systems are used correctly, and people-related risks are identified and escalated early.

This role backs up the Director of People, Risk & Culture by translating strategy into consistent, repeatable execution through disciplined field presence, administrative accuracy, and operational follow-through.

  • Coordinate recognition programs and visible celebrations of performance and milestones
  • Ensure 30/60/90-day reviews and employee surveys are completed on time and with quality

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through and administrative accuracy
  • Able to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple workflows effectively
  • Self-directed, dependable, and comfortable operating with clear boundaries
