Software Development Manager

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead the design and delivery of highly available network control plane services that power our global retail business. You will guide a team of engineers building scalable, secure distributed systems that manage traffic, routing, and connectivity for critical e commerce workloads. In this customer-obsessed, data-driven environment, you'll own technical roadmaps, drive engineering best practices, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, performance, and operational excellence at massive scale. You'll coach and grow engineers, foster experimentation, and use metrics to continuously improve systems and processes. This role offers the opportunity to solve complex, global-scale challenges with cutting-edge technology while gaining broad ownership and career growth across Amazon's diverse businesses.
