Benefits & Payroll Specialist (Remote)

We are seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to manage payroll processing and employee benefits administration. This role requires experience with ADP Workforce Now , California payroll , and multi-state payroll .

Key Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll accurately and on time.
• Manage payroll and employee data in ADP Workforce Now.
• Audit payroll, timekeeping, and benefits records for accuracy.
• Administer employee benefits, including health, welfare, and 401(k) plans.
• Reconcile benefits invoices and support employee enrollments and changes.
• Answer employee questions regarding payroll and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with payroll and benefits regulations.
• Assist with HR projects and reporting.

Requirements

• 3+ years of payroll experience, including California payroll.
• 3+ years of ADP Workforce Now experience.
• Experience processing multi-state payroll.
• Experience administering employee benefits and 401(k) plans.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs.
• Knowledge of payroll compliance, 5500 filings, and non-discrimination testing preferred.
