Principal AI Product Manager
: Microsoft Designer is a team of creative and technical experts who are passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and effective designs with AI. We are looking for a Principal AI Product Manager who will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of AI powered design experiences across the portfolio of Microsoft products. You will be responsible for creating, releasing, iterating and growing products that leverage generative AI systems and models to enable users to generate, explore, and refine design ideas at scale. You will work closely with engineers, researchers, designers, marketers and partners to deliver innovative and impactful solutions that delight our customers and drive business value. Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for AI powered design experiences.
- Identify and prioritize customer needs, market opportunities, and competitive gaps, and translate them into clear and actionable product requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, researchers, designers, and partners to deliver high-quality products that meet user expectations and business objectives.
- Define and track key performance indicators and success metrics for the products and use data and feedback to inform product decisions and iterations.
- Evangelize and advocate for the value and potential of AI powered design experiences, both internally and externally, and foster a culture of innovation and experimentation.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/project/program management.
- OR equivalent experience.
- 6 years of product management experience delivering end-to-end products from ideation to launch.
- 1+ year's of experience working with AI systems, preferably generative AI systems like DALL-E, GPT and Stable Diffusion.
- Deep understanding of the technical, ethical, and user experience challenges and opportunities of generative AI systems and models.
- Passion for quality and experience, and a user-centric mindset.
- Good communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, and the ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse and distributed teams.
- Ability to articulate complex concepts and influence various audiences. Proven track record of delivering high-quality products that meet customer and business goals.
