The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support. /Preferred Qualifications KLA Corporation is seeking a Tax Accounting Manager who will be a significant part of the technology-minded and efficiency-focused US income tax team. This person will be part of a team responsible for all aspects of the tax accounting and financial reporting within the enterprise. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can communicate effectively across various functional areas and has excellent hands-on problem-solving, and analytical skills. Responsibilities:

• Prepare the quarterly/annual GAAP and non-GAAP worldwide income tax provision.
• Ensure accurate and timely tax account reconciliations and flux analysis every quarter.
• Assist with financial forecasting models for strategic global tax planning and compliance.
• Keep current on all new tax and GAAP developments with an understanding of its implications to the Company.
• Optimize effectiveness and efficiencies from technology solutions.
• Prepare and report the Company's forecast of quarterly federal, state, and local income tax payments to Treasury.
• Present quarterly tax results to financial auditors and address any related questions.
• Ensure tax department is aligned with SOX requirements.
• Assist with all US federal, state, and local income tax audits.
• Implement strategic US, federal, state, and local tax planning.
• Assist with the Company's annual income tax credits calculations.
• Assist with the tax accounting of M&A transactions.
• Assist with special projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. degree required, Master's degree in Taxation, Accounting, and/or CPA preferred
• Minimum of 5 - 7 years of combined Big 4 and/or industry experience required with focus on income tax accounting.
• Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of tax code and ASC 740.
• Strong ability to apply best practices to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as with collaborators.
• Dynamic, diligent, and analytical problem solver with goal towards efficiency and process improvement.
• Experience with the Thomson OneSource software suite (Income Tax, Tax Provision, State Apportionment, Estimated Tax Payments, DataFlow, Workpapers, DataQuery, etc.)
