Associate Governmental Program Analyst
Job Description and Duties
The Protective Services Division (PSD) working environment is fast-paced, challenging, and provides an excellent opportunity for personal growth and professional development. Under the direction of the PSD Administrative Sergeant, the AGPA’s duties include:
• Provides administrative and analytical support at the Division level.
• Provides consultative-type input at the final decision-making level within Division.
• Maintains frequent and continuous interactions with subordinate commands to maintain a continuity of operations.
• Prepares multiple program expenditures and budget proposals.
• Continuously evaluates the fiscal management activities of the division and its subordinate commands.
• Reviews, prepares, and processes contracts and invoices.
• Tracks and processes procurements and invoices.
• Manages and prepares a variety of fiscal reports.
• Prepares various mandatory monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual reports.
• Tracks Division projects to ensure due dates for assignments are met.
• Perfoms other job-related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions
The work hours for this position will be Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

- The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
- Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified before appointment. The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) serves as documentation of each applicant's ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. Each question must be numbered and addressed in the same order as the questions below. Th e SQQ must be typed , single spaced, no more than two pages in length , and 12-point Arial font.

- Describe your experience working with others in a team environment. Explain how you developed productive working relationships with peers and management. Explain your personal work style and tools you use to be a productive and effective member of a team.

- Knowledge of the functions of the California Highway Patrol
