About this Role

We seek a Community Engineer to educate, inspire, and engage our developer community. You will define our content strategy across channels, develop Trunks voice, and create technical content tailored to our developers needs.

Responsibilities

1. Create long-form content for blogs and social media, including tutorials and thought leadership pieces.
2. Develop code samples and case studies for diverse developer segments.
3. Manage and improve developer documentation at docs.trunk.io as our product evolves.
4. Partner with companies for content syndication and innovative content initiatives.
5. Experiment with creative content series, such as DevEx Horror Stories.
6. Assist with Trunk Community Slack, as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong writing skills to entertain and educate a broad audience.
• Ability to produce screencasts and instructional videos.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to create visuals like infographics and charts.
