Compensation

Base pay is $17 per hour. You will earn tips once the new location is open to the public.

• In addition to base pay, our team members also receive tips averaging approximately $4.00 per hour. Although tips can vary and are not guaranteed, our amazing customers regularly reward our team with generous gratuities for the great service and Buzz Life energy we bring every day. Actual amounts may differ based on location, hours worked, quality of service, and customer discretion. Average tips reflect 2025 reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service
• Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks
• Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards
• Work all café positions — our baristas are cross-trained and adaptable – including working in our kitchens to make food to order
• Keep our space clean, safe – always ready for guests and teammates

Our baristas have the opportunity to learn the entirety of our business:

• Cashier - Point of Sale
• Expo - Inside & Outside Order Taking
• Working the Drive-Thru (if drive-thru)
• Supporting Third-Party Delivery & Online Orders
• Back of House - Cooking & Prepping

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred
• Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service
• Strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
