Accounts Receivable Manager
Position Overview:
Experienced AR Manager responsible not only for approving credit of potential applicants, but setting up new accounts across all business segments. This position will manage the extensive checklist process for each new account coming onboard. This position will also be managing the AR collections efforts of their five AR Administrators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive credit applications and determine credit worthiness
- Establish the new account huddle with appropriate departments
- Create new accounts in all three systems Karmak, McLeod, and Freight Data
- Manage extension onboarding checklist for each new account – Dedicated, Leasing, Rental, Maintenance, and In House Financing
- Oversee AR teams’ collection efforts
- Collaborate with Leaders and Operations as needed
- Own SOP processes in Trainual
Qualifications:
- Three years' experience in an AR, New Accounts, and Management role
- Communication - high level interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to interact with their direct reports, leadership, accounting, sales managers, and operations
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Attention to Detail – extreme attention to detail is essential in this role
- Intermediate in Excel
- Business Ethics & Confidentiality
- Time Management – ability to manage time to get multiple tasks done
- Attitude - demonstrates a “can do” attitude, despite potential roadblocks
- Responsiveness - high level of responsiveness needed, work well under pressure, deliver within required deadlines
- Organization – not just the ability to organize data to work efficiently, but extreme organization
- Flexibility – ability to shift priorities, adjust schedule, and multi-task in fast-paced environment
- Supportive - eagerness to help others learn or accomplish their tasks, being available is essential
Preferred Skills:
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Extensive experience in multiple ERP systems - including McLeod, Karmak, and Freight Data.
Compensation:
Annual Salary $80k plus $2500 quarterly incentive based on performance
