Forklift Driver
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Driver to join our team at our facility located in Chino, CA, 91708. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently moving and handling materials. If you are a safety-conscious individual with a passion for logistics and a knack for operating heavy machinery, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring that all items are handled safely and efficiently.
- Perform regular inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse layout for easy access to products.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification and experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices in material handling.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
