Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing skilled and semi-skilled general maintenance, repair, and installation tasks in government buildings, housing units, and facilities. This role supports the upkeep, safety, and functionality of properties by executing preventative and corrective maintenance while following safety and operational guidelines. Full time, Monday-Friday, $23-27/hr DOE

Key Duties:

Perform repairs in plumbing, painting, drywall, carpentry, roofing, and electrical fixtures.

Install or replace appliances, flooring, light fixtures, smoke detectors, cabinets, and more.

Prepare work areas and clean job sites.

Complete work orders and assist with estimates and inventory.

Support janitorial duties, event setups, and furniture moves.

Operate heavy equipment and follow safety protocols.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required.

1+ year experience in general construction, maintenance, plumbing, electrical, or similar.

Valid CA Driver’s License

Must maintain a satisfactory driving record with the DMV

Must pass hair follicle drug screening.
