Vehicle Inspector

Salary: $27-30/hour plus commission, health benefits, 401k, PTO, and more.

Hours : Wednesday through Sunday, 8AM to 5PM

Location : Remote/Field Base - Calabasas/Canoga Park, CA

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Field Operations Coordinator to conduct vehicle assessments and coordinate directly with dealerships. This is a field-based role operating Sunday through Thursday, 9 AM to 6 PM PST. The position plays a key part in ensuring accurate vehicle inspections and seamless operational flow between internal teams and external partners.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed vehicle inspections (engine, transmission, interior, exterior) using a mobile application.

• Submit accurate inspection reports electronically.

• Travel to dealerships to assess vehicles prior to sale, ensuring compliance with operational standards.

• Communicate regularly with operations and sales teams to maintain workflow efficiency.

• Coordinate directly with dealerships to support vehicle preparation and inspection timelines.

• Distribute marketing materials to dealers to support sales efforts.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on automotive experience (mechanic or equivalent technical role).

• Familiarity with key components such as differentials, transmissions, lower end of engine, and transfer cases.

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to travel locally to dealership locations.

• Proficiency with mobile technology and digital inspection/reporting tools.
