Product Manager III - AI Agent Experiences (Discovery Team)

The Product Team creates high-quality end-to-end experiences for travelers, partners, and Expedia Group. Our customer-first mindset focuses on developing products that encourage loyalty and repeat business from our travelers and partners. We partner closely with teams across Expedia Group to achieve growth and results for our customers and company.

In this role, you will:
Lead the charge in developing next-generation conversational UI and smart suggestions that make travel planning a breeze
Pioneer the integration of multimodal inputs - voice, image, gestures, geo, and device signals - to create seamless, context-aware interactions
Collaborate with design teams to evolve our design system, ensuring cohesion, fluidity, and support for emerging patterns in AI-driven interfaces
Drive the strategy for AI-powered trip discovery, transforming how travelers explore, compare, and choose their perfect getaway
Analyze global AI adoption trends in travel planning and strategize ways to keep Expedia Group ahead of the curve
Partner with cross-functional teams to accelerate our AI capabilities, ensuring we remain competitive in a rapidly evolving landscape
Own the roadmap for AI Agent experience improvements, balancing innovation with user needs and business goals
Collaborate with tech teams to evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies that can give us a competitive edge
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience
5+ years of Product Management experience; with a track record of delivering innovative, user-centric products
Experience with conversational UI and chat-based interaction models
Experience with front end products
Preferred Qualifications:
Deep understanding of AI technologies; particularly in areas of natural language processing, computer vision, and multimodal interactions
Strong user advocate and bias to action
Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling user experiences
Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data to inform product decisions
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels
Agile mindset with the ability to pivot quickly in response to user feedback and market changes
Passion for travel and a keen interest in how AI is reshaping the industry
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
