Lobby Attendant
Job Overview
The Mission Inn Lobby Attendant are responsible for performing a variety of cleaning duties to facilitate a positive experience for our guests. Included in the Lobby Attendant's responsibilities are: checking for cleanliness of public areas within the confines of the property. Meeting and exceeding guests expectations by problem solving any unexpected messes. The Lobby Attendant are a part of our liaison between the guests and the hotel. Duties & Responsibilities
· Maintain all the public bathrooms neat, clean and fully stocked.
· Keeps all trashcans, ashtrays and guest public areas neat and clean.
· Sweep and mop assigned the hard floor areas.
· Vacuum all assigned carpeted areas.
· Keep assigned office areas clean during the day, ensure all trash cans are emptied on a daily basis.
· Vacuum and clean assigned baseboards and carpet edges once a month or as requested by management.
· Wash/Clean the windows in the lobby area from the inside.
· Dust/Clean artwork and picture frames in the lobby area periodically or as requested by management.
· Dust/Clean furniture in the Lobby area of the hotel periodically or as requested by management.
· Performs special projects inside and outside of the Lobby Area, Rotunda and other areas of the hotel as needed.
· Report any broken/missing furniture or decorative items to supervisor or manager on duty.
· Perform all essential job duties successfully; promptly and up to the hotel's standard for cleanliness.
· Perform any other tasks as requested by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
· Two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
· Must be able to communicate in English; read, write & speak.
· May be required to work night, weekends, and/or holidays and extended hours during the Festival of Lights season (approximately November to January).

The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting and may be modified in the future.
