Technical Project Manager, Service Distribution
Tesla Motors is seeking a motivated, experienced, and knowledgeable TPM to work in the Service Supply Chain network. The Change and Document Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining the Change and Document Control programs across Tesla’s distribution centers within the supply chain. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, manage documentation systems, and uphold quality compliance in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. What You'll Do Monitor and maintain the Change Control Program to ensure that new programs and process changes go through the programManage and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation related to quality processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and compliance records in the distribution centersEnsure all documentation complies with Tesla’s internal standards, ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (if applicable), and other relevant regulatory requirementsAdminister document control systems (e.g., electronic document management systems) to organize, store, and retrieve critical records efficientlyCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure version control, document approvals, and change management processes are followedConduct regular inspections and audits of processes and documents, ensuring compliance with quality standards and approved flowsIdentify opportunities to streamline documentation workflows and reduce errors or redundancies What You'll Bring Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Program Management, or equivalent experience2+ years related experience in quality assurance, or project management in a supply chain or manufacturing companyFamiliarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar quality management standardsASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT), Certified Document Controller, or similar certifications are a plusStrong knowledge of quality control methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis, CAPA, 8D problem-solving)Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BIStrong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines Benefits
