Senior Staff Strategy Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for driving key strategic decisions in what could become a $10T global market for personal mobility. You will structure solutions to complex problems, perform deep data-driven analytics, generate insights, & then build cross-functional consensus among the senior management team to enable focused execution.

In this role, you will...

• You will lead Strategic Finance at Zoox, including valuation, corporate development, and our long term financial strategy.
• Own the end-to-end Corporate Development lifecycle, including identifying, assessing, and executing M&A opportunities that accelerate Zoox’s mission.
• Foster robust partnerships with both Zoox and Amazon stakeholders, acting as a key liaison and driving joint initiatives that unlock strategic synergies.
• Manage high-visibility corporate strategy projects that tackle complex organizational challenges and provide the senior management team with actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Strategic Finance, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading the execution of M&A activities, including target identification, financial valuation, and due diligence management.
• Expertise in advanced financial modeling and valuations.
• Proven track record of managing high-visibility strategic projects and presenting findings to executive-level leadership teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Past project or professional experience in the AV/mobility/transportation space.
• MBA or advanced degree in engineering.
• Experience working in a high-growth technology company navigating the scaling phase.

$189,000 - $266,000 a year

Base Salary Range

There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
