Job Summary

The job of Parent Liaison - Spanish/English is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the school instructional program by planning, coordinating, and facilitating parent contacts and conveying information regarding school and/or school activities and procedures; and providing information on services available to eligible students and families, both in the district and community, for parents with limited English skills. This job reports to Principal or Administrative Designee.

Requirements / Qualifications

Job- Related Skills Proficiency Test (Typing Test with 40wpm)

Community college and/or Vocational school degree with study in job related area

Previous experience translating/interpreting in a public education environment preferred

Associates Degree preferred

District Translator Assessment

Criminal Background Clearance

Tuberculosis Clearance

Salary Info

$21.21-27.06/ an hour

Hours

3hrs per day, 180 days per year
