Vice President, Solutions Architecture (Santa Clara)

NVIDIA is searching for an extraordinary VP, Solution Architecture to lead our AI SA team. Your primary responsibilities will range from attracting and retaining technical talent to the team to being NVIDIA's spokesperson at conferences and events to building trusted technical advisor relationships with CEOs, co-founders, engineering VPs, and CTOs of the leading enterprise, cloud, and government customers building and deploying AI. You should have a strong working knowledge of GPU accelerated computing including artificial intelligence, deep learning, data analytics including the knowledge of underlying software and hardware architectures.

You will be working cross functionally with our organizations, as well as ensuring a positive experience for external customers and partners. You should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment experiencing rapid growth, and have experience with NVIDIA Deep Learning software and systems. You will use your leadership skills and ecosystem contacts to recruit and hire new solution architects with software development skills to introduce automation, build robust artificial intelligence systems, and put together custom solutions quickly for short-term requirements. Your ability to work independently is important, and you will rely upon your excellent communication skills during consulting engagements. We expect you to work closely with the entire customer team, including sales and program management, as well as applications engineering. This position can be based at our Santa Clara headquarters or remote in a major US city.

What you'll be doing:

• Recruit and hire solution architects and data scientists to support our rapidly growing enterprise professional services business.
• Primary point of AI services for our hardware and software products provided to cloud, enterprise, and government customers
• Shepherd critical customer issues and provide timely advance warning of critical issues that need attention.
• Develop the team of solution architects that provides deep architectural AI services engagement on all NVIDIA solutions, directly supporting WW sales and business management, and working closely with the team to secure design wins.
• Establish close personal technical ties to the customer account at CTO and CxO level, establishing personal relationships to facilitate rapid resolution of issues and promote the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

What we need to see:

• 20+ overall years of experience in a AI industry in a technical role
• 10+ years of management experience
• Experience building and deploying AI models into production.
• PhD in EE, CS, Math, or Physics or equivalent experience
• In-depth knowledge of computer systems architecture

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• AI and data analytics development experience
• Cloud development/deployment experience
• In-depth software development or data science experience
• MBA degree

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 480,000 USD - 690,000 USD.
