We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with a strong background in software engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science along with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience, or a PhD with 1 year of experience. A current TS/SCI or TS clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Python.

• Utilize software architecture design patterns to ensure efficient and scalable software solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Maintain a strong understanding of the network stack and associated network protocols.

• Ensure software engineering fundamentals are applied to all projects.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of containerized software.

• Implement DevOps practices and maintain software pipelines for optimal performance.

• Productize software solutions to meet client requirements and industry standards.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science with relevant software engineering experience.

• Active TS/SCI or TS clearance with SCI eligibility.

• 3+ years of professional experience with Python.

• Strong understanding of software architecture design patterns.

• Basic knowledge of network stack and associated protocols.

• Proficient programming skills in Python.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with developing or using containerized software.

• Familiarity with DevOps fundamentals and software pipeline maintenance.

• Experience with productizing software solutions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Redondo Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $90.00/hr.
