GHJ Search & Staffing is partnered with an exclusive members-only community company in the hospitality space who is seeking a like-minded Finance Controller to lead their accounting team.

They are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Finance Controller to oversee core accounting functions including Accounts Payable, balance sheet reconciliations, credit card program management, and financial reporting. This is a hands-on leadership role that also provides strategic insight to department heads and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead AP operations and month-end close
• Manage company purchasing card program and reconciliations
• Conduct weekly trial balance reviews and monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Oversee contract insurance compliance and vendor COIs
• Prepare financial reports and variance analysis
• Develop and guide the accounting team, driving continuous improvement
• Ensure GAAP compliance and support audits

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a leadership role
• Hospitality (hotel or F&B) background strongly preferred
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and ERP systems
• Organized, communicative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
