Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Freight Sales Inside Sales Representative for an on-site opportunity in the Torrance and Redondo Beach, CA area. This role is ideal for a sales-driven logistics professional who enjoys developing new business, building strong client relationships, and creating customized freight solutions across domestic and international transportation modes. Key Responsibilities - Prospect and develop new business through outbound calls, emails, referrals, and ongoing client outreach.- Build, manage, and maintain strong customer relationships with shippers and logistics clients.
- Prepare freight quotes for operations, negotiate rates, and close sales opportunities.
- Manage sales pipeline activity, customer follow-ups, and CRM documentation.
- Partner closely with operations to ensure accurate service delivery and a positive customer experience.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales, revenue, and profit goals. Compensation and Benefits - Pay: $25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.
- Commission available as a bonus.
- Type: Temp to hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Generate new freight and logistics sales opportunities through active prospecting and relationship building.- Develop customized freight solutions and prepare quotes in partnership with operations.
- Manage customer relationships, sales pipeline activity, and follow-up communication.
- Support revenue growth by meeting or exceeding monthly sales and profit goals. - 2+ years of inside sales experience in freight, logistics, transportation, or a closely related field.
- Experience selling freight or logistics services is required.
- Existing client relationships or an established book of business is strongly valued.
- Strong communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to perform in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Proven ability to achieve sales goals and maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and customers. Preferred Qualifications - Experience in freight forwarding or 3PL sales.
- Knowledge of LTL, FTL, van, flatbed, rail, air, and ocean freight.
- Experience supporting freight throughout the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales pipeline management.
