Meet the team: The Project Specialist will be responsible for assisting the Talent & Diversity Leadership Team and the broader HR team with the coordination of team operations and the successful delivery of program assignments. As part of the Talent & Diversity team, this position provides logistical support to global initiatives spanning talent management, learning and development, diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as organizational design and culture. Additionally, you will actively collaborate with the HR team, lending tactical support to the implementation of global and local programs.

This multifaceted role affords you the opportunity to play a part in advancing strategic Talent & Diversity and HR objectives as well as enhancing overall employee experience. As a vital member of the team, you will gain invaluable insight into the intricacies of program planning and execution across a diverse spectrum of HR programs.

Where you come in:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of programs, team meetings (including offsites), and other events across the Talent & Diversity and broader HR teams, ensuring all logistics are well-coordinated.
  • Collaborate with team members across the HR function, at all job levels, to organize program materials, venues, and schedules.
  • Support in the preparation and distribution of program-related documentation.
  • Support team operations lead with the tracking and management of resources, budget, and vendors.
  • Track integrated calendar across HR, starting with Talent & Diversity processes and projects.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for external program participants as needed, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation. Communicate itineraries and details to all involved.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for programs and team operations.
  • Assist in preparing reports summarizing program progress, outcomes, and expenses.
  • Serve as a point of contact for program, meeting, and event inquiries.
  • Foster effective communication among team members and external partners.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project coordination and execution.
What makes you successful:
  • 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources, Communications, Project Management, or other related function that involves a high degree of interaction with people
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Familiarity with basic planning and project management concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across time zones and teams
  • Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, and delivering results
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic work environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite
  • Experience with Smartsheet or other project tracking tool
  • Experience scheduling and coordinating meetings and/or events
  • Experience working in a global and matrixed organization

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.
Travel Required:
  • 0-5%

Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
