Overview / Basic Function
The IT Manager is responsible for the daily support and maintenance of the hotel’s IT infrastructure, systems, and applications. This role ensures that all technology services function smoothly and efficiently to support hotel operations, staff, and guests.
This role will report to the Director of IT
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily technical support to hotel staff and guests, ensuring smooth operation of all IT systems.
- Maintain critical systems such as the Property Management System (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), back-office software, and Wi-Fi networks.
- Work with department heads to ensure technology meets operational needs.
- Collaborate with the Director of IT and vendors for system updates, new software, or hardware implementations.
- Ensure proper backup procedures, antivirus protection, and IT security standards are followed.
- Monitor and troubleshoot hotel network infrastructure (wired and wireless), servers, and user devices.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, software licenses, and service agreements.
- Assist with the setup and support of AV and IT needs for conference rooms and guest functions.
- Train and support users on basic software and hardware use.
- Support Microsoft Office 365 applications, email services, and file sharing systems.
- Follow company IT policies and help enforce data protection, password policies, and acceptable use.

Preferred Experience & Education
- 3+ years of IT experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Strong understanding of PMS (e.g., Opera), POS (e.g., Micros), and hospitality systems
- Experience with Microsoft Windows environments, networking (TCP/IP), and Active Directory
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco are a plus

Pay
The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $110,000 annually. This is the pay range for this position that the Hotel reasonably expects to pay. This position is eligible for bonus.
Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience, type of hotel luxury experience, location, and education.
