Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Position Summary
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and timely movement of materials throughout the facility. This role supports production flow by maintaining organized inventory, verifying shipments, and following company safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and process incoming shipments from customers, UPS, FedEx, and other carriers
Inspect, count, and verify products and serial numbers for accuracy
Label, organize, and store materials in designated locations
Date-stamp and process purchase orders and related documentation
Complete and route work orders to the appropriate departments
Support material movement to ensure smooth production workflow
Maintain clean and organized shipping/receiving area
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Foreman or Supervisor
Qualifications
Previous shipping and/or receiving experience preferred
Forklift experience preferred (must be able to pass forklift certification)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
