About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills in maternal and newborn care and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, including monitoring maternal and fetal well-being
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Deliver immediate newborn care following birth
- Educate patients and families on prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in Labor & Delivery nursing
- Baby care experience
- Experience assisting with a range of deliveries (from fewer than 100 to over 300 births)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- AWHONN Advanced
- NRP Advanced (including all 11 components)
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM)
