About The Job

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

The Google Store team is responsible for creating an exceptional shopping experience for Google’s hardware products. As the Accessories Strategy and Business Lead for our First-Party (1P) channels, you will be the commercial owner of the accessories portfolio. You will define how our "Made by Google" and curated third-party accessories come together to enhance the customer journey on the Google Store.

In this role, you will balance the art of product storytelling with the science of retail economics. You will lead the long-term goal for our assortment, ensuring that our Google Store channels offer a cohesive and customer-centric selection. You will be the central pivot point between global product development and the day-to-day operational realities of our direct-to-consumer business.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $177,000-$257,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Learn more about benefits at Google .

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the strategic roadmap for the accessories category, aligning 1P channel goals with broader hardware division objectives. Define the full accessories assortment for the Google Store, globally. Create frameworks to evaluate product performance and identify white-space opportunities for assortment expansions, including both Made by Google and Made for Google products.
  • Drive the financial health of the category. Manage revenue, margin, and promotional budgets to meet quarterly and annual business targets.
  • Act as the primary business partner for Product, Operations, Finance, and Business Development. Collaborate with Regional Sales leads to ensure local market relevance within a global strategy.
  • Lead the end-to-end commercial execution for new launches on the Google Store, ensuring seamless integration across all channels.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Demand Planning to optimize inventory levels, mitigate stock-outs, and manage product lifecycles.
