Loan Servicing Coordinator
Position Summary: The CFCU Loan Servicing Coordinator is responsible for a variety of loan servicing functions in connection with all loan products offered at the credit union; including consumer secured, consumer unsecured and all mortgage loans. The Loan Servicing Coordinator possesses a strong working knowledge of credit union lending systems, loan documents and products. Ensures all loan level servicing functions are processed timely, acts as the intermediary between external first mortgage loan servicer and our members, branch personnel, Contact Center and the lending department to ensure problem resolution is achieved and all member inquiries are addressed timely while ensuring a high level of accuracy and member satisfaction.
Major Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Perform Keystone computations and provide explanations for all loan payment interest calculations (Consumer and in-house Mortgage) in response to inquiries. Calculate and post loan payment recasts as needed.
- Research loan payment history, make corrections and provide responses to all member credit reporting disputes.
- Process Mortgage Release such as posting payoffs, preparing payoff demands, and preparing mortgage reconveyance for official recording. Provide zero balance letters upon receipt of requests.
- Complete all loan verification of consumer and mortgage loans requests received from third parties (Consumer Loans, HELOC's, Closed End Seconds, Manufactured Home, Lot Loans)
- Perform all duties associated with closing and reopening HELOC accounts in which fraud has been reported, coordinate efforts with the member and our Fraud Department
- Perform Loan Modifications such are loan amortization, modify loan payment amount, and recasts.
- Facilitate responses to all member loan inquiries as escalated from branch and/or Contact Center personnel and act as primary liaison between member inquiries and our First mortgage servicing vendor Cenlar.
- Coordinate all SWBC related functions; member inquiries, process CPI Billing and Refund reconciliation and member debit/credit posting to loans.
- Process Total Loss Insurance or Damaged Vehicle Claims and work with Insurance companies to secure best value for our Consumer Loan collateral.
- Process all Member Service Civil Relief Act (SCRA) requests.
- Process and prepare all member correspondence for each mortgage account being reported with delinquent real estate taxes; track for follow up to ensure delinquencies are redeemed.
- Process and prepare all member correspondence for each mortgage account being reported with a change in flood zone because of the annual flood certification reporting; ensure all properties reported in a flood zone provide evidence of flood insurance that meets FEMA requirements.
- Sort and post mailed loan payments received at Santa Rosa Headquarter.
- Participate in special projects, other duties and related tasks as assigned.
- Attend regular departmental and company-wide meetings.

Required Knowledge, Abilities, and Education:
- High School Diploma
- Strong organization skills
- Excellent member service and communication skills, including written, verbal and listening skills
- Strong knowledge of CFCU products and services for both lending and member services
- Proficient at lending systems including; Keystone, L360 and Calyx Point
- Mortgage and Consumer Lending loan/underwriting knowledge
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Ability to use PC and operate in Microsoft and loan related programs
Beneficial Education and Experience:
- Experience in the customer service industry
- Experience in the financial industry
- Bilingual (Spanish) helpful
Salary:
$24.83-$37.25 depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.83 - $37.25 per hour
