Program Coordinator - Social Services
Achievement House, a non-profit organization with a rich history of serving individuals with developmental disabilities since 1957, is seeking a dedicated Vocational Case Manager to join our team. We are committed to promoting independence and inclusion through vocational training, education, and adaptive living skills programs. As a Vocational Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in supervising and training Direct Support Professionals, ensuring efficient and safe operations, and working closely with staff to maximize our impact. We offer a $250 sign-on bonus to successful applicants.
Responsibilities
- Understand and submit all paperwork as required by deadline including transportation paperwork, attendance, job coach notes, objective sheets, incident/accident reports, time
- Monitor Work Contracts to ensure staff, Individual’s served and contracts are successful. As well as, maintain and excellent relationship with all contract personnel;
- Oversee and monitor each business contract including: staff, budgets, expenditures and quality assurance of work
- Oversee Individual’s case management is complete and accurate
- Support in daily supervision of staff and guarantee contract coverage
- Execute proper allocation of agency resources (product, space, time, people, etc.).
- And other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and or Director of Employment Services.
Qualifications
- Must have own vehicle and maintain a current California driver’s license.
- Must provide on-going proof of current state required auto insurance.
- A high school education or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience working with Individuals with Developmental Disabilities is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Reading, writing, basic math skills.
- Ability to motivate others.
- Flexibility with work schedules and willingness to help cover different sites as needed.
