Business Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. Candidates must have strong analytical skills, experience with SDLC, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues effectively.

Rate Range: $56/hour to $58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Analyst job responsibilities include:

• Work closely with business teams to gather and document requirements and ensure clarity for implementation teams.

• Collaborate with development and QA teams, reporting issues through bug tracking systems, email, and meetings.

• Troubleshoot user-reported issues, perform root cause analysis, replicate problems, and drive them to resolution.

• Provide timely support to internal system users, including data fixes, error correction, and system knowledge sharing.

• Create and execute effective test cases, perform user acceptance testing for releases and urgent patches.

• Prepare training materials and release notes and communicate project updates and risks to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.

• Strong understanding of SDLC and experience creating effective test cases and performing UAT.

• Technical proficiency with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML) and SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $58.00 per hour
