Position Summary
EASE is the leading platform for plant-floor audits and operational insights, trusted by manufacturers worldwide to drive quality and performance. As our customer base and need for scale grow, we’re seeking a backend engineer to help evolve our SaaS platform—building robust APIs, enhancing performance, and enabling seamless integrations.

This role strengthens scalability, optimizes data flows, and drives innovation to keep EASE robust, adaptable, and future-ready—within a modern ASP.NET Core, MySQL, AWS, and Angular platform.

Position Location: Hybrid

Annual Salary Range: $130,000-$160,000

What You'll Do:

• Build for scale and reliability. Design backend capabilities that enhance performance, resilience, and scalability.
• Design efficient backend services. Develop and maintain APIs, workflows, and data layers for our SaaS platform.
• Enhance performance. Diagnose and optimize data flows and queries to keep systems fast and stable.
• Champion quality. Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with solid unit and API coverage.
• Collaborate effectively. Work with Product, UX, and QA to turn complex requirements into maintainable solutions.
• Continuously improve. Refine processes, developer tools, and engineering practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 3+ years of professional server-side development experience.
• Backend development experience with modern frameworks and languages (ASP.NET Core / C# preferred).
• Solid experience with relational databases and effective data modeling.
• Experience developing and scaling APIs for high-volume SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with asynchronous processing, caching, and security best practices.
• Proficient in unit and API testing, including test-driven development.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and analytical skills.
• BS in Computer Science / Engineering, or equivalent training.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AWS Cloud and services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, or RDS.
• Experience building efficient data layers using ORMs (Entity Framework, Dapper).
• Exposure to Python for scripting or AWS Lambda.
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, Grafana).
