EEG Technologist Job Details
- Location: Madison, WI 53792 (Wisconsin healthcare job)
- Facility: Academic Level 1 Trauma Center – Hospital Setting
- Assignment Type: Travel EEG Technologist Contract
- Start Date: September 8, 2025
- End Date: December 8, 2025
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8-hour shifts), some weekends required, no call
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1870–$1920
- On-Site Position
- Minimum 2 years of clinical Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist experience OR 5 years as a clinical Seizure Monitor Technician or similar healthcare role
- Pediatric EEG experience required
- Experience in an academic Level 1 trauma center or large hospital setting required
- Prior travel healthcare assignment experience highly preferred
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Program OR R. EEG.T credential with at least 2 years of EEG experience OR 2 years of IONM procedure experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- Proficiency with Epic charting system required
- Ability to pass adult and pediatric telemetry exams prior to start
- Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from Madison, WI facility
- Perform diagnostic neurodiagnostic testing procedures including EEGs, evoked potentials (EP), nerve conduction studies (NCS), long-term epilepsy monitoring (LTM), and ICU/continuous EEG monitoring
- Analyze and interpret EEG data to ensure accuracy and quality
- Obtain and document relevant patient history to guide testing
- Work in diverse clinical settings: outpatient labs, emergency rooms, operating rooms, ICUs, special monitoring units, and bedside
- Float to multiple hospital units as needed for clinical support
- Utilize specialized EEG equipment including Natus Neuroworks XLTEK, Zeto quick read EEG, and MRI/CT conditional EEG leads
- Provide care for a diverse patient population: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
