Position Overview:
We’re excited to welcome a skilled Maintenance Technician to our growing team! In this role, you’ll take on a variety of technical maintenance and installation tasks, applying both hands-on expertise and theoretical knowledge to keep our equipment running smoothly. You’ll troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, contribute to system improvements, and collaborate with engineers and junior staff to ensure operational excellence.
What Your Day May Look Like:
Plan and execute assigned maintenance projects with minimal supervision.
Analyze and troubleshoot technical problems on-site, performing necessary mechanical or electrical repairs.
Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines on transportation equipment, large forklifts, and other types of heavy machinery.
Execute ramp-up, setup, and start procedures to prepare machines for operation.
Support installation projects and collaborate with Industrial Engineers.
Maintain and update technical documentation for equipment and processes.
Provide technical guidance to junior staff when needed.
Perform maintenance on various types of equipment across the facility.
What Will Make You Thrive in This Role
Completion of a vocational training program in a technical field or equivalent.
3-5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, assembly, or equipment setup
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Experience with commercial grade HVAC systems, large compressors, and commercial electrical experience are highly desirable.
Ability to work independently and solve non-routine technical issues.
Experience with technical documentation and process improvement.
Comfortable working in moderately complex environments with specialized equipment.

This position is located in Sacramento, CA. The starting salary range for this position is $59,600-$70,000 per year. This role allows for overtime and is a 2nd shift position which will also be accompanied by a 10% shift differential. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
