We’re seeking a Corporate Controller to lead our Accounting organization through its next stage of growth. Reporting to the VP Finance, this leader will uphold financial integrity, elevate Accounting into a strategic, insight‑driven partner, and build scalable, AI‑enabled processes that support expansion. The ideal candidate blends technical rigor with operational vision, thrives in complexity, and leads with heart while strengthening a financial foundation built for scale, clarity, and confident strategic decision‑making.

As Corporate Controller at Eko, You Will:

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage a high‑performing Accounting team, including management of offshore resources to ensure global coverage and operational efficiency.
• Establish scalable processes, controls, and workflows that support growth and evolving business needs.
• Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Transformational Accounting & AI‑Driven Innovation

• Reimagine the accounting function as a value‑added service for the business, leveraging AI, automation, and modern systems to streamline operations.
• Drive initiatives such as touchless close, automated reconciliations, exception‑based reviews, and predictive analytics.
• Partner with FP&A and Strategic Finance to deliver real‑time insights, dashboards, and performance analytics that inform executive decision‑making.
• Lead the evolution of the company’s financial systems architecture, ensuring tools and processes scale with growth.

Technical Accounting & Compliance

• Own complex technical accounting, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), equity accounting, R&D, and other advanced topics.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closes and provide management insights on revenue and sales growth.
• Oversee preparation of GAAP‑compliant financial statements and lead external audits.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Tax, Insurance, and Corporate Compliance

• Lead tax planning and strategy, including federal, state, international, and indirect tax considerations.
• Manage corporate insurance programs, renewals, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Oversee regulatory filings, statutory reporting, and compliance obligations across jurisdictions.

As Corporate Controller at Eko, You Have:

• CPA required; Big 4 or national firm experience strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, ideally in high‑growth or SaaS environments.
• Expertise in U.S. GAAP, technical accounting, and ERP’s like NetSuite, SAP, Oracle.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams, including offshore resources.
• Proven track record of driving transformation, implementing systems, and leveraging automation/AI.

$195,000 - $210,000 a year

Compensation is market‑based and reflects the cost of labor across different U.S. geographic locations. The specific salary is based on several factors, including market location, and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
