Job Overview Ian Knapper, an internationally-recognised master stonemason renowned for creating bespoke stone staircases and luxury fireplaces of exceptional quality, is seeking a highly organised and professional Virtual Assistant . This is a full-time , remote position for a candidate based in San Diego, California, United States . The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a business synonymous with high-end, one-of-a-kind designs. You will be a key part of a small team, supporting a world-class craftsman. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $25 - $35 USD per hour . Responsibilities- Manage and maintain calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings with high-profile clients and suppliers.
- Handle email correspondence and client enquiries promptly and with the utmost professionalism.
- Prepare, format, and edit documents, reports, and presentations for internal and external use.
- Act as a first point of contact, liaising with clients, architects, and partners in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Assist with basic project coordination, including tracking timelines and communicating updates.
- Conduct research on suppliers, materials, and potential new business opportunities.
- Provide general administrative support as required to ensure the seamless daily running of the business.
- Uphold a high level of discretion and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Personal Assistant, or in a relevant administrative role.
- Exceptional organisational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- The ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage a varied workload in a remote setting.
- A proactive and professional approach to problem-solving.
- Experience supporting a creative professional, a luxury brand, or a business within the design or construction industry is highly desirable.
