Motorcycle Parts Person

:

Stockton Powersports is franchised dealer of Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki products. We sell Motorcycles, ATVs and Sides by Sides. In addition to sales we have a thriving parts department and service department.

Parts Person's Responsibilities:

• Gathers appropriate model information from customer to assist in assertaining the correct parts and accessories for the customers needs, both in store and over the phone.
• Tagging and displaying of parts and accessories as necessary
• Aid customers selecting riding gear and apperal
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading manufacturers' publications.

• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Work Hours & Benefits

This is a full time position. Our normal hours and days of operation are Tuesday thru Friday 9-6 and Saturday 9-5, we are closed Sundays and Mondays. Overtime is seldom required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Some personal or proffesional background with motorcycles, ATVs or Side by Sides
• Prior Dealership, Automotive, or parts sales experience is a plus but not required
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent prefered
• Previous customer service experience in a retail sales role strongly preferred but will train new hire with other related skill sets and product knowledge
• Experience or certification with specific manufacturer is a bonus
• Computer and point-of-sale proficiency
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Reliable transportation
