• 1st and 3rd shift available | 6am - 6pm | 6pm - 6am (2-2-3 schedule)

• $30 - $45 /hour
• Overtime Available 1.5x Rate over 40 hours

We are working with an established food processing company based in Harrisonburg, VA. They are recruiting for multiple Refrigeration Mechanic to join their team during their 1st and 3rd shifts in return for a salary in the region of $30 - $45 /hour along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO and Life Assurance.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the refrigeration systems in the plant
• Working with ammonia refrigeration systems and repairing system components
• Working with/maintaining spiral freezers, Cryovac
• Reading of gauges and instruments
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment
• Monitoring operation of equipment
• Maintaining inventory of supplies and materials

Qualifications & Experience required:

• 3 years of experience in ammonia refrigeration and HVAC systems maintenance
• Experience with compressors, condensers, evaporators, and other ammonia refrigeration components
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and controls related to refrigeration
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
