Quality Assurance Inspector (QA Inspector)
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector (QA Inspector) to join our team in Torrance, CA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of products using measurement gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
- Utilize GD&T principles to interpret and analyze blueprints and technical drawings.
- Perform data analysis on quality control metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), specifically Hexagon brand, to ensure product specifications are met.
- Communicate effectively with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records in compliance with AS9100 standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.
- Provide training and support to team members on quality inspection techniques and tools.
Qualifications
Must have a minimum 5+ years experience in quality assurance/inspection
Proficient with CMM, PC-DMIS
Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
Experience with quality control data analysis and reporting.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in shop math skills.
Familiarity with AS9100 quality management systems.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Hands-on experience with measurement gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
Experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), preferably Hexagon brand.
