Steamer Line Cook
As a Steamer Line Cook, you play a key role in delivering the signature dumplings our guests come to Din Tai Fung (DTF) for. In this role, you are responsible for carefully steaming dumplings to order, ensuring each basket is cooked to perfection and served with the quality and consistency our guests expect.
You’ll also support the dumpling team by helping prepare, assemble, and close dumplings throughout the shift. Steamers are responsible for opening and closing the steamer station, as well as restocking and organizing dumplings so service runs smoothly. Because this role often works from our show kitchen, maintaining a clean, groomed, and professional appearance is essential as you help bring the experience to life for our guests.

PAY RATE FOR STEAMER LINE COOK: $22.50 per hour

SUPPORTING FUNCTIONS:
- Keeps all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
- Organizes items within the walk-in coolers and freezers
- Lifts/moves boxes, bags, chairs, and tables (up to 50 pounds)
- Assists with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen
- Maintains confidentiality regarding all propriety information, including but not limited to recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP’s“).
