Marketing Assistant

Sunwise Auto Group is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our growing and expanding team. This is a full-time position and will primarily work from our corporate marketing office in Concord, CA. We are a progressive, fast-paced, and growing company focused on premium customer service and employee satisfaction. We currently have five local stores: Weatherford BMW/MINI Of Berkeley, BMW Concord, BMW of San Rafael, Audi Concord, and Marin Subaru. The Marketing Assistant will report to the Group Marketing Director and will support the corporate marketing department. This position will include various marketing responsibilities within our corporate marketing department and will work closely with store and department managers as well as OEM marketing personnel. As a Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with executing campaigns and coordinating various projects to help drive brand awareness, retail sales and growth for a multi-franchise retail automotive dealership group. The ideal candidate is organized, tech savvy, and passionate about marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with various marketing department duties to include budget reconciliation and manufacturer co-op submissions, creating internal reports and presentations and participating in creative brainstorming
• Assist with on and off-site marketing events, photo and video shoots, partner promotions, etc. as necessary
• Interface with marketing vendors to ensure proper performance
• Assist with dealership community events

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, strong Excel Skills
• Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing principles
• Excellent organizational skills and multitasking skills are a must
• Passion for automobiles and the retail automotive environment
• Knowledge of Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms a plus
• 4-year degree in accounting, marketing, communications or relevant field a plus
• Advertising copy-writing experience helpful
• Automotive CRM experience preferred
• Graphic arts ability a plus
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Must have a clean DMV record

COMPENSATION:

The Marketing Assistant Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $22.00 and $27.00. * Hourly rate depends on experience. We are a drug free environment.
