Product Master Data Analyst

We’re looking for a detail-oriented analyst who understands retail and apparel and takes pride in getting the details right. In this role, you’ll help ensure our product data is accurate, structured, and ready to support planning, reporting, and e-commerce execution in a fast-moving retail environment.
What You'll Do:
Product Master Data Management
Maintain and validate style- and SKU-level product master data including attributes, hierarchies, lifecycle status, costing, and pricing.
Ensure product information is structured and reliable to support planning, reporting, and sell-through visibility.
Partner with Merchandising, Planning, Finance, Operations, and IT to resolve discrepancies and prevent repeat issues.
Support new product setup and lifecycle updates in a dynamic, seasonal retail environment.
Data Quality and Process Improvement:
Conduct regular reviews to identify gaps or inconsistencies before they create downstream impact.
Improve processes that reduce manual checks and strengthen long-term data quality.
Track and report key data quality metrics such as completeness, accuracy, and issue resolution timing.
Reinforce governance standards that keep product data consistent and scalable as the business grows.
Retail & Seasonal Execution:
Ensure product data is launch-ready ahead of seasonal deadlines.
Support POS reporting, sell-through analysis, and inventory visibility through accurate product setup.
Understand how product data impacts allocation, margin reporting, planning decisions, and distribution execution.
Reporting & Visibility:
Use SQL and Power BI to support reporting needs and increase visibility into product data integrity.
Build dashboards that highlight data health, risk areas, and resolution progress.
Translate findings into clear next steps for business partners.
What you Bring:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in apparel, footwear, retail, or e-commerce environments.
Experience working with POS data, product attribution, or retail reporting.
Experience supporting product master data or working within enterprise systems.
Strong Excel skills.
Understanding of retail product lifecycle and SKU hierarchy structures.
Preferred:
Basic SQL knowledge.
Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems.
Exposure to PLM systems.
Pay Range: $70,000-$75,000 annually plus bonus based on experience
