Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and train a crew of gardeners to complete assigned landscape maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
• Ensure all work meets company standards for quality, safety, and productivity.
• Implement and uphold company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
• Monitor and evaluate crew performance, providing coaching and support as needed.
• Assist with job setup, pruning techniques, and quality control evaluations.
• Support scheduling, routing, and dispatching of field labor in coordination with management.
• Address and resolve client and internal requests or complaints promptly, maintaining professional and courteous communication.
• Maintain accurate records and report any incidents, injuries, or policy violations to management and HR.
• Represent Stay Green Inc. professionally with clients, vendors, and the community.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and maintain confidentiality as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of gardening or landscape maintenance experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or crew leadership experience.
• Valid Class "C" California Driver’s License required; Class "B" preferred.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Basic knowledge of commercial landscape maintenance and irrigation systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and using hand tools.
