Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly driven Bilingual Post Coordinator (English & Mandarin) to join ReelShort’s Post Office team. This role operates at the intersection of project ownership, cross-regional coordination, and post-production execution.

The successful candidate will independently manage assigned projects from post-production kickoff through delivery, ensuring quality control accuracy, schedule adherence, and effective cross-departmental communication across U.S. and China teams.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrates strong ownership, and brings structure to ambiguity through proactive problem-solving and effective risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Post-Production Execution

• Coordinate assigned projects through QC, asset tracking, and delivery preparation
• Perform detailed QC reviews (picture, sound, subtitles, VFX)
• Track deliverables and ensure materials meet platform and internal standards

Cross-Team Communication

• Support communication between LA and China teams
• Coordination with cross-department communication

Schedule & Task Tracking

• Monitor deadlines and follow up on action items
• Assist with updating project tracking systems
• Support post production team in managing timelines

Operational Support

• Maintain organized project files and documentation
• Assist with platform uploads and delivery logistics
• Document post-project reporting and timeline tracking

Performance Indicators

• QC accuracy
• Timely task completion
• Communication responsiveness

• Reliability in execution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or related field
• Full professional fluency in English and Mandarin (required)
• 1+ years professional experience in film or media, post-production, or production support
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to follow SOP-driven workflows
• Detail-oriented mindset
• Comfortable with working across time zones
• Basic understanding of post-production workflows preferred
• Basic working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or other professional non-linear editing software is required
• Problem solving and risk management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with quality check process
• Familiarity with post delivery workflows
• Exposure to short-form or episodic content production
• Prior cross-regional collaboration experience
• Advanced non-linear editing software knowledge

Benefits

Compensation: This contractor position offers the following monthly rate: $4,000 - $5,000/month (depending on experience)
