Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II (SSM II), the Supervising Program Technician III (SPT III) supervises a team of Program Technician IIIs who performs technical duties within the Enforcement Division, to ensure that designated enforcement processes are completed accurately and in accordance with requirements and time constraints established by law. The SPT III frequently interprets laws, rules and regulations including, but not limited to, the Business and Professions Code, Health and Safety Code, Code of Civil Procedures, Penal Code, and Government Code.In all job functions, employees are responsible for creating an inclusive, safe, and secure work environment that values diverse cultures, perspectives, and experiences, and is free from discrimination. Working Conditions
This job is a full-time office position located in Natomas with free parking. Teleworking is not
available.
Special Requirements
- The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
Title 11, section 703 (d) of the California Code of Regulations requires criminal record checks of all personnel who have access to Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI). Pursuant to this requirement, applicants for this position will be required to submit fingerprints to the Department of Justice and be cleared before hiring. In accordance to DCA ’ s (CORI) procedures, clearance shall be maintained while employed in a CORI-designated position.
Additionally, the position routinely works with sensitive and confidential issues and/or materials and is expected to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of documents and topics pertaining to individuals or to sensitive program matters at all times.Benefits
