Sr. UX Designer- Software Engineering

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Building storyboards to conceptualize designs to accurately convey project plans and users’ needs.
• Supporting design research for various features; conduct, interpret, and summarize UX research, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to finalize findings.
• Translating ideas/research findings into use flows, wireframes, and interface designs that lead to intuitive user experience.
• Collaborating with team members and stakeholders on software UX deliverables and designs.
• Applying and updating Design System in order to ensure uniformity within the software engineering organization and solidify brand recognition with our customers.
• Creating user interface prototypes when necessary (optional depending on skillset)

Experience Required

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design

Skills & Certifications

• Understanding of user research techniques and how they can be applied to problem-solving.
• Understanding of the user-centered design process.
• Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project deadlines.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate in HCI/design.
• Proficient with industry standard design tools (Figma, Sketch, Balsamiq, Adobe Creative Cloud).
• Portfolio to showcase your work

Desired:

• Knowledge of immunology or other life sciences applications is a nice-to-have.
• Experience working with medical instruments or life science instruments is a plus

Eligibilities & qualifications

• Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate in HCI/design.
