Senior Accountant
A large, well-known retail organization with a complex, multi-entity structure is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations at its Carson, CA headquarters. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on general ledger ownership, month-end close, and accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.

Compensation & Location
- Up to $100,000 base salary (DOE)
- Bonus + comprehensive benefits
- Fully onsite (5 days/week) in Carson, CA
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own general ledger accounting for assigned entities
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Support external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Help identify opportunities for process improvements within accounting operations
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience with a strong focus on general ledger and month-end close
- Experience working in a multi-entity environment
- Solid understanding of US GAAP
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field strongly preferred
- Ability to operate independently in a senior-level individual contributor role
- ERP system experience strongly preferred
