Workers' Compensation Analyst- Telework Option

Job Description and Duties

This position is eligible to telework up to three (3) days a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. This is subject to change based on operational need and/or future return to office orders. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Under close supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, this position reports new workers' compensation claims for DGS for industrially injured Department of General Services (DGS) employees in conjunction with State Compensation Insurance Fund (SCIF), DGS offices and the injured worker. This position manages a caseload consisting of non-disability claims. This is done in compliance with Executive Order D48-85, various Government Code sections, applicable laws, rules and regulations.
