Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Engineer position include:- 5+ years of experience in a custom manufacturing environment (food processing machinery preferred)- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred- Proficiency in SolidWorks and experience creating Bills of Materials (BOMs)- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical systems- Ability to work with raw materials including sheet metal, tubing, and plate- Experience managing design projects from concept through production- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills- Comfortable collaborating with sales teams and interfacing with clients- Monday –Friday, 8am–5pm schedule with occasional travel for trade shows and client meetingsSalary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
