Job Summary
We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team as People Experience Specialist. This role is responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on onboarding, offboarding, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a positive employee experience while ensuring HR processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
Job Description
- Onboarding: Design and implement comprehensive programs, handle pre-boarding logistics (paperwork, workstations), facilitate initial training, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Offboarding: Conduct exit interviews, analyze retention trends, oversee knowledge transfer, manage administrative logistics (final payroll, benefits termination, equipment returns), and ensure legal compliance.
- Talent Experience & Early Career Programs: Plan, budget, and execute culture-building events (workshops, engagement initiatives). Manage full logistics (catering, venue, scheduling) and measure ROI via post-event surveys.
- HR Generalist Support: Maintain accurate employee records and serve as a versatile point of contact throughout the employee lifecycle.
Skills Required
- Proven HR Generalist experience with a strong focus on onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, and event planning.
- Foundational HR background is required; candidates with only event planning or administrative experience and no HR experience will not be considered.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, with the confidence to present to large groups and executive-level leadership.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required) and the ability to work with data analysis, reporting, and HR metrics, including exit interview and event reporting.
- Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education/Training/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. (PHR / SHRM-CP or master’s is a plus)
Additional Requirements
- Schedule: 1st shift 8A-5P (Mon-Fri)
- Location: Primarily Austin but must be willing to travel to Taylor during the week to support both sites.
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Pay Rate
- $35–$42 per hour, based on experience, skills, and market factors
