Senior Tax Accountant
Tax Senior -Japanese Bilingual Required
Location: Gardena, CA (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office)
Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt
Salary: $95,000 – $120,000 (DOE)
We are a Japanese accounting firm seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Tax Senior to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals with 3–5 years of tax experience who are looking to grow their career in a collaborative and flexible work environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns and related filings
- Handle tax compliance and reporting in accordance with applicable regulations
- Support tax planning and advisory services for clients
- Communicate with clients regarding tax matters and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely tax filings
- Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of tax experience
(corporate tax required; public accounting or in-house tax experience acceptable)
- Experience in public accounting or tax is preferred
- Experience in a Big 4 or similar public accounting firm is highly preferred
- CPA or EA license is not required; however, candidates pursuing CPA/EA or with relevant coursework are highly preferred
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Language Requirement
- Japanese-English bilingual required
